JCT produced this 500# component for the Superconductor Industry.   Overall part dimensions are 35″ diameter and 45″ length and is produced using JC6061 material with a proprietary heat treatment to meet very stringent mechanical properties.

Johnson Centrifugal Technology produced this 30″ diameter aluminum component for NASA. The centrifugal forming process included a unique heat treatment that utilized liquid nitrogen to enhance metal strength. This cutting edge telescope technology part provided a major financial savings to NASA.
